<p>Miranda Priestly’s back &#8211; and yes, the heels are still lethal. Nearly two decades after&nbsp;<strong><em>The Devil Wears Prada</em></strong>,&nbsp;Meryl Streep,&nbsp;Anne Hathaway,&nbsp;Emily Blunt&nbsp;and&nbsp;Stanley Tucci&nbsp;return to the glossy chaos of <em>Runway </em>&#8211; but this time, it’s not just fashion on the line. With print media on the brink, Miranda is battling to keep her empire, and frankly herself, relevant, while former assistant Emily Charlton (now a major player) holds the advertising power. With director&nbsp;David Frankel&nbsp;and writer&nbsp;Aline Brosh McKenna&nbsp;back at the helm, expectations are (rightly) sky high. Will it match the original? Who knows. Will it be stylish, sharp and endlessly quotable? We’d bet our cerulean sweater on it!</p>

<p>Cute CGI sheep solving crimes? Honestly, we’re in. This family-friendly caper comes from&nbsp;Kyle Balda&nbsp;(of&nbsp;<em>Despicable Me</em>&nbsp;fame) and boasts a seriously stacked cast &#8211; including&nbsp;Emma Thompson,&nbsp;Nicholas Galitzine,&nbsp;Julia Louis-Dreyfus,&nbsp;Chris O&#8217;Dowd,&nbsp;Patrick Stewart,&nbsp;Bryan Cranston, and&nbsp;Hugh Jackman&nbsp;as Farmer George &#8211; a man so devoted to his flock he reads them crime novels and sleeps among them. When he suddenly drops dead, it’s up to the sheep to piece together what happened. Cue suspects, silliness and a surprisingly solid little mystery running through it all. <p>Art world drama, but with a properly devious twist in <strong><em>The Christophers</em></strong>. Ian McKellen&nbsp;plays Julian Sklar, a once-celebrated figure from London’s pop art heyday who hasn’t picked up a paintbrush (or paid a bill, presumably) in years. Enter his less-than-devoted offspring &#8211; James Corden&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jessica Gunning &#8211; who, keen to secure their inheritance, hatch a cunning and chaotic plan. Their solution? Bring in a former art forger, played by&nbsp;Michaela Coel, to secretly finish their father’s abandoned works, ready to be “discovered” (and conveniently valued) after his death. Sharp and oh-so scandalous. </p>

<p>Not another&nbsp;<em><strong>Star Wars</strong></em>&nbsp;instalment you cry? Yep, but stay with us. Set somewhere between&nbsp;<em>Return of the Jedi</em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>The Force Awakens</em>, this latest outing picks up with everyone’s favourite chrome-helmeted softie, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), and his scene-stealing sidekick Grogu, aka Baby Yoda, aka the real reason we’ll be watching cos he&#8217;s pretty darn cute! Anyway, The Empire may have fallen, but the galaxy is still a hot mess, so Din gets pulled into helping the New Republic. Cue space battles, familiar faces, and plenty of intergalactic drama. Sigourney Weaver, Jeremy Allen White and Jonny Coyne also star.</p>

This one’s got you covered. <em><strong>Finding Emily</strong></em>&nbsp;is a very British meet-cute with a twist: boy meets girl in real life (no dating apps here), girl accidentally gives boy the wrong number, and &#8211; because fate refuses to be helpful &#8211; boy is then forced to team up with a driven psychology student to track girl down. Angourie Rice,&nbsp;Spike Fearn,&nbsp;Minnie Driver,&nbsp;Fiona Allen&nbsp;and&nbsp;Ella Maisy Purvis all star in this funny, feel-good watch. </p>

<p>Get practising your best air grabs for&nbsp;<strong><em>Power Ballad</em>,</strong> a musical comedy from writer-director&nbsp;John Carney&nbsp;(<em>Once</em>,&nbsp;<em>Sing Street</em>). Paul Rudd&nbsp;plays Rick, a singer firmly in his “past his prime but still booking weddings” era when he crosses paths with Danny (Nick Jonas), a pop star very much on the way down. Naturally, they bond over music, ego, and a late-night jam session that probably sounded better at the time. Then Danny takes one of Rick’s songs, turns it into a hit, and suddenly Rick is left wondering where his comeback credit went &#8211; and whether he’s actually been robbed. Packed with heart, humour, and a dangerously catchy soundtrack.</p>

In this heartfelt, funny family story, three sisters &#8211; Scarlett Johansson,&nbsp;Sienna Miller&nbsp;<em>and</em>&nbsp;Emily Beecham &#8211; return to their childhood home for a very big occasion: the third wedding of their twice-widowed mother, played by Scott Thomas herself. Naturally, a family wedding is never just a wedding. Over the weekend, old tensions resurface, long-buried truths start bubbling up, and the future refuses to be ignored &#8211; helped along by a colourful array of guests and unexpected revelations. We&#8217;re definitely RSVP-ing yes to <strong><em>My Mother&#8217;s Wedding</em></strong>. </p>

<p><strong><em>Backrooms</em></strong>&nbsp;is based on one of the internet’s most infamous modern horror myths &#8211; a “creepypasta,” which is essentially a scary story that spreads online like digital folklore. Directed by&nbsp;Kane Parsons&nbsp;and written by Will Soodik, the film expands on Parsons’ viral web series, plunging us into a liminal nightmare of endless corridors, flickering lights and that creeping feeling you’ve gone somewhere you absolutely shouldn’t be. The story follows a therapist whose patient vanishes into a reality-bending dimension. Naturally, she does what any sensible person wouldn’t &#8211; and goes in after him. An interesting premise and a stellar cast including Chiwetel Ejiofor,&nbsp;Renate Reinsve and Mark Duplass &#8211; we&#8217;ll definitely be watching albeit from behind our popcorn!</p>
