<p>Steven Spielberg is back in UFO territory for the first time since&nbsp;<em>War of the Worlds</em>, and this time the panic feels global. Like any sort of alien activity, exact details are still very much under wraps but, as you can see from the trailer,&nbsp;<em><strong>Disclosure Day</strong></em> imagines the moment humanity learns we are not alone &#8211; and reacts accordingly. An all star cast leads the action &#8211; hello Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Colman Domingo and Eve Hewson &#8211; so expect big ideas, big emotions and some classic Spielberg awe, tinged with dread.</p>

<p>By the power of Grayskull &#8211; He-Man is back! Travis Knight (<em>Bumblebee</em>) reboots the cult 80s favourite with Nicholas Galitzine stepping into the furry loincloth, alongside Camila Mendes and Alison Brie. Idris Elba plays noble mentor Man-At-Arms, while Jared Leto continues his villain era as Skeletor, everyone’s favourite bony nemesis. Leaning into the cheese &#8211; and really, would we have it any other way? &#8211; <em><strong>Masters of the Universe</strong></em> is punchy, self-aware and unapologetically nostalgic.</p>

<p>Eighteenth-century England, pox outbreaks, Jacobite unrest and a family who are definitely not coping well.<strong> <em>Savage House</em></strong> follows Sir Chauncey (Richard E. Grant) and Lady Savage (Claire Foy) as their pursuit of status and survival spirals into decadence, chaos and bloodshed. Darkly satirical and dripping in period excess. It&#8217;s giving<em> The Favourite</em> vibes and we are here for it. </p>

<p>The spoof franchise that refuses to die is back, and horror has rarely been more fertile ground. Anna Faris, Regina Hall and the Wayans brothers return as the series sets its sights on everything from <em>Get Out</em> and <em>Nope</em> to the recent wave of “elevated horror” with <em>Longlegs</em>, <em>Heretic</em> and <em>Sinners</em> among them. Expect gags, gore and absolutely zero reverence.</p>

<p>Meet Henry Paget: aristocrat, eccentric and utterly uninterested in behaving. When he inherits his family estate in 1890s North Wales, his flamboyant lifestyle sends shockwaves through polite society &#8211; much to the locals’ delight. With a loyal inner circle and a lot of theatrical flair, this is a riotous tale of identity, inheritance and glorious defiance. Callum Scott Howells is <strong><em>Madfabulous </em></strong>as Henry, and is joined by a stellar supporting cast of Rupert Everett, Ruby Stokes, Siobhán McSweeney, Louis Hynes and Paul Rhys. </p>

<p><em><strong>Virginia Woolf’s Night and Day </strong></em>gets a fresh adaptation courtesy of Justine Waddell. Set in 1910 London, it follows Katharine Hilbery &#8211; played by Haley Bennett &#8211; a young woman pushing against her family’s expectations of marriage to pursue a career in astronomy. When pressure from her father threatens to derail her independence, new friendships with a suffragette and an editor open her eyes to a different future. Timothy Spall, Jack Whitehall, Lily Allen and Jennifer Saunders star alongside Bennet in this sharp, spirited story of a woman determined to break free.</p>

<p>Woody, Buzz and the gang are back for a fifth (and what we’re told is final) outing &#8211; with Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack returning to voice over duties. This time, they’re up against a chirpy new tech-age rival: a frog-shaped tablet called Lilypad (voiced by Greta Lee). Expect Pixar-level heart, big laughs and, if this really is goodbye, big sobs.</p>

<p>Milly Alcock takes flight as Kara Zor-El in this fresh take on Superman’s cousin, first teased in last year’s <em>Superman</em>. Directed by Craig Gillespie, the film follows <strong><em>Supergirl</em></strong> on an intergalactic birthday road trip that quickly turns into something far more dangerous. With Krypto the superdog along for comic relief, it promises a mix of chaos, heart and high-flying spectacle. Jason Momoa, Emily Beecham, Matthias Schoenaerts and David Krumholtz also star. </p>
