The HOTTEST new nail polish shades for spring
Spring is here - time for pretty new nails! From new season chic pastels to Harry Styles' psychedelic new collection, here are the shades to have on rotation right now.
1/ Shroom Bloom
Yes, that is Harry Styles getting a hot pink pedicure! Painted digits has become a style signature for Styles who launched his own nail varnish brand, Pleasing, last year. The new collection Shroom Bloom features four spring shades in psychedelic packaging and will no doubt be a sell out when it’s released on 15 March.
Mint has been on the style sidelines for a while now and is taking centre stage this spring as THE must-have manicure colour. We’ll be trying this new-in shade from Barry M’s gelly collection which costs less than a cup of coffee – result!
3/ Peggy sunburn
Trust Gucci to make sunburn stylish (without the peel). This chic new coral shade is plant-based, high-coverage, ultra-shiny and comes in a gorgeous vintage-inspired bottle that’ll add a touch of Hollywood glamour to your dressing table.
4/ Flight of Fantasy
If you want an at-home mani that’ll last, and at a purse-friendly price point, then check out Essie’s extensive range. The brand has released six new pastel shades for spring – and our pick is this subtle baby blue.
5/ pixel dust
OPI has teamed up with Xbox for its new spring offering – but this is no gimmick – the collection includes a surprisingly gorgeous range of shades including this shimmery pink, that provides up to 11 days of wear without the need of an LED lamp. Impressive.
6/ planet perfect
Nothing screams spring like a sunny yellow and we love this one from Nails.Inc. We also love its creds – the award-winning formula is vegan, cruelty free, halal friendly, 73% plant-based, 21 free (free from acetone, parabens and 19 other nasties), plus 40p from every sale is donated to the Rainforest Trust.
Usually swerve the brighter shades? Inspired by deep, earthy tones and natural landscapes this opaque polish from A Weathered Penny (be sure to check out the gorgeous, dainty jewellery on site too) is the perfect neutral, plus the entire range is vegan, non-toxic and cruelty-free.
