<p>The 2000s are back, baby – and this time, they’ve arrived at the Met Gala. Fresh from fashion’s biggest night out, the 2026 red carpet served up a heavy dose of glossy lips, icy lids and frosted finishes that would make your teenage self weep into her Juicy Couture sleeve. Thankfully, the overplucked brows remain firmly in the past where they belong (sorry, Kylie Jenner, it&#8217;s a no from us).</p>

<p>From shimmering champagne eyes to metallic nude lips, the beauty mood was unapologetically Y2K, with everyone from Teyana Taylor and Rihanna to pop princess Lisa leaning into the nostalgic, high-shine aesthetic. And honestly? We’re obsessed. Forget barely-there “clean girl” makeup – this season it’s all about sparkle, sheen and looking like you’ve just stepped out of a very expensive 2003 music video.</p>
