Here it’s all about getting back to nature so turn off your gadgets, tune into the great outdoors and get back to nature in this remarkable location. Set in the heart of Rutland, it offers accommodation in unusual and unique spherical domes which give a fun, new twist to the idea of glamping. Visit Woolton Farm, near Canterbury, home of Kentish Pip and their fabulous range of award-winning, distinctive East of England ciders. Go glamping in this cool and quirky 1950’s caravan, as seen on George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces. The Warwick Knight, sleeps up to 4, or alternatively try Belle, the cosy Bell Tent sleeping up to 5. The caravan also has its own roof terrace with artificial turf and deckchairs for enjoying a large glass of wine as the sun sets over the nearby Forest of Dean. Dotted along the banks of the Grindsbrook stream in the glorious Edale Valley, the tents overlook heather, moorland and pastures, and are a perfect pick for families looking for a back-to-nature escape. Did you know you can glamp at Stonehenge? Alright, you might not be under the stones themselves, but you’re within a healing crystal’s throw. This semi-woodland campsite setting has everything from bell tents to buses (seriously, there’s a converted bus), but we’re a big fan of the pretty Shepherd’s Hut above. As well as the obvious nearby attraction, there’s outstanding walking, two well-reviewed local pubs and an excellent farm and village shop.
