VENUE LAUNCH
CHALLENGE
In a city like Brighton, heaving with innovative eateries and quick-to-judge locals, creating a huge pre-buzz for a new venue isn’t easy. For the launch of their bar/restaurant Coppa Club wanted to tap into our unique ability tap into our targeted readership in Sussex plus the surrounding counties of Hampshire, Kent and Surrey to spread word and whip up desire to be first to try it out.
OUR IDEA
We generated excitement around the launch using a combination of features – What’s On guides, ‘newsflashes’, a first night review and a competition with data capture for Coppa’s email database. This was all supported by newsletter and social amplification.
RESULTS
The highest ever email sign up to the Coppa newsletter for any of their six restaurant launches. The most effective too – Muddy helped filled the 220-cover restaurant every night for 3 weeks.
