Easy summer outfits to take you from beach to bar
Holidays are too much fun to spend ages getting changed for dinner after a day at the beach. We just want to go straight from our sun lounger to the cocktails and appetisers. Here are our favourite summer looks.
Transitioning from day to night needn’t be complicated, so whether you’re bound for Cornwall or Capri (or just the garden), opt for floaty fabrics, versatile bags and fuss-free flats to keep your look simple but stylish. These beach cover-ups work hard, whether you’re kicking back on the sand or checking out the local night life – and some of them are even in the sale.

Set & match
Loose, floaty trousers or shorts paired with a co-ordinating top are a super versatile option for holiday packing and are perfect to throw on over swimwear when you’re headed to the piazza for a sundowner

Get shirty
An oversized shirt dress makes the perfect day to night outfit, it’s loose and cool, whilst a collar adds a tailored element, making it work either for a casual beach bar or a smart restaurant.

Play the long game
A maxi dress ticks all our holiday fashion boxes, wear it over your cozzie at the beach, sightseeing in town, shopping at the farmers market or style it up with some statement jewellery for dinner and drinks.

Holy moly
Crochet and lace are big news this season and we love the cheeky peekaboo element of these fresh, boho cover-ups

Footloose
Fuss-free flats are surely one of the best bits of a holiday wardrobe. Think leather sandals, woven slip-ons and statement sliders and leave your heels back at home. A touch of bright nail polish is all you need to perfect those tootsies..

In the bag
Make sure there’s space to fit your sunscreen, tinted lip balm, something to read and your phone and ditch stiff leather styles in favour of soft woven fabrics and raffia for a cool, casual vibe.
