The Spice Girls go plastic: the Nineties legends in Lego

Can you guess which nineties girl band is being immortalised in a 578 piece Logo brick set 25 years after their iconic album release? Read on to find out!

I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want… to get my hands on my very own mini Spice Girls. Well, your time has come superfan – the ultimate memorabilia of the ultimate 90s girl band is out… Yup, it’s Spice Girls Lego.

The iconic toy brand has hit the nostalgia spot with this 578 piece set (that’s at least at least five renditions of Spiceworld and ten Bacardi Breezers of build time in my book). There’s Scary in her leopard print, Baby in pink and bunches, Ginger’s sack-the-stylist hair streaks, Sporty looking… well… and Posh adding little in the style stakes – ever the wallflower in her LBD.

The figures, which will be 8cm high once built, have been released to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Spiceworld album (oh how time flies…). They will be available to buy from 1 March for £44.99 and are predicted to sell out (yes, really) so get in there quick.

This isn’t the first foray for Lego into adult sets – mindful and nostalgic grown-ups have been snapping up the 18-and-over sets since they launched in lockdown.

There are sets dedicated to travel – hey, if you can’t stay in a boutique hotel, how about build your own? We love the bird of paradise pot plant that you really can’t kill, but for us, the adult Lego pinnacle has to be the Adidas Originals Superstar trainer complete with shell toe – and this one won’t need pre-scuffing before it goes on display.
