Where better to start than the Heston Blumenthal’s cocktail bible from The Hind’s Head in Bray. While we can’t sit in The Hind’s Head’s Royal Lounge right now, we can tickle our tastebuds with one of its decadent drinkies. So cocktail glasses at the ready for a… Gold Rush. Complete the Hind’s Head look by adding taxidermy on your walls.
- 15ml Elderflower liqueur, like St Germain
- 10ml Gin
- 10ml Bianco Vermouth
- Dash of grapefruit bitters
- Pinch of gold leaf
- 80 ml Champagne
Stir all of the ingredients together and pass through a fine strainer. Top up with Champagne as needed. Garnish with a Viola flower.
