Gotta Have It
This brand new interiors styling subscription box is totally genius. It'll give your house an easy-peasy autumn refresh - and you can pretend it was all your idea. Boom!
This subscription service by From The Post House really caught my eye – not just because it’s full of chic products but because it’s such a neat idea for interiors buffs.
Basically, at the start of every season, subscribers will receive a curated box of homeware goodies to style their home and set the scene for the months ahead, with those goodies sourced from, and inspired by, a different region of the UK each time.
It literally launched last week – you heard about it first on Muddy, naturally! – with an autumn box inspired by the harvests and leaf change in High Weald of Kent and East Sussex, which includes dried and fresh flowers, a vase, a scented candle, linen napkins, seasonal squashes and a plate to display them on, seasonal recipes and styling notes, among other bits. Each box costs £95 as a one-off, or £85 if you sign up for all four across the year.
The clever bit is the curation – for those of us who are time-poor but want our homes to look stylish (after all you never know when a visitor might post a pic of your pad on Insta these days!), it’s a boon to have someone with a brilliant eye pick out such covetable pieces. Those brilliant eyes belong to ex-fashion buyer and interior stylist, Hannah Risbridger, and her co-founder, lifestyle PR Anne Kapranos.
Have you noticed how ‘tablescaping’ has become such a thing? It’s not enough just to have pals over for dinner any more, you feel you have to serve it on a perfectly styled table too. Aargh. Well, From The Post House is certainly a shortcut on that front.
It’s the kind of thing that’d make a brilliant gift for the woman in your life who has everything. Or an imaginative wedding present. Or just nab one for yourself – especially at this time of year, when we spend so much time within our own four walls. Not that I’m trying to justify it or anything, oh no.
