Have pet, will travel?
Have pet, will travel? Here's how to transport Fido or Whiskers in style. No, those passers-by aren't laughing at you, you must've imagined it.
Taylor Swift’s moggie, Olivia, travels in some style – as you’ll know if you’ve watched the singer’s new Netflix documentary, Miss Americana. In one scene, Taylor boards a private jet (but of course) with her kitty in this Anxuan airline-approved backpack (below) with a bubble window, so the feline can take in the views.
Cute, eh? Miss Olivia is not going to be stowed in the hold, thank you very much. The bag is actually only around 40 quid so no designer price tag here but you’ll have to buy it from US Amazon. I wonder if you can put babies in them? (JOKE, social services).
In a similar vein, how about this chic pet carrier tote from Made.com? It’s only £25 in sale and has a luxe fur-lined interior and cut-out section from which Rover’s head will winningly poke out.
Finally, if you want to really make a statement (that statement possibly being: “I am mad”), may we recommend a pet stroller? This Besrey number (£84.99) is perfect for those times when you want to go for a walk but your furry friend doesn’t. (OK, before you all email me, I know they’re good for disabled/ very elderly dogs.) I spotted one recently in Bicester Village, being toted by tourists with a ridiculously fluffy chihuahua puppy called – naturally – Barbie. Next week: clutch bags for guinea pigs.
