<p>Sun&#8217;s out and happy hour is pretty much every hour after midday. Rythmik Cocktails fast became Muddy&#8217;s lockdown lifeline, so we ordered a bottle of the fruity Pampelita Margarita – and the pink grapefruit twist is a zingy sensation. This pre-mix takes the classic tequila, sugar and citrus ingredients, but adds a ruby red grapefruit aperitif. The flavour is tropical and tangy, serve over loads of ice and wedge of grapefruit. <p>Liberation Cocktails has been been popping up all over our social feeds, and is a Great Taste Award winner, so we saw it as a sign. Liberation uses talented mixologists, top notch ingredients to ensure your cocktail in a can is all natural and nasties free. <p>We&#8217;re suckers for a funky can design and a snappy slogan. Vacay &#8216;for the high spirited&#8217; (we feel seen). The Tom Collins cocktail uses 58 Gin produced in Hackney Downs, paired with Sicilian lemon juice, soda water and a dash of natural cane sugar. If you recoil at super sweet mixes, this is for you. <p>When it&#8217;s hot hot, hot, you want a cocktail that&#8217;s refreshing, tasty and keeps you in the game for the long haul. Love Jus (saucy) is a vodka-based cocktail that combines refreshing blood orange with zingy pomegranate, while the ginseng adds a bitter, floral note. <p>Ooh, the Pornstar Martini is the 2020s answer the the 90s Cosmo, but this one packs a boozy punch. Buck &amp; Birch are hand-crafted cocktails made in Macmerry, Scotland. Each 150ml bottle contains two serves with a whopping 22% abv. Approach with caution, shake with ice to release the spicy dried orange peel and dried mango notes of the sea buckthorn. <p>MOTH (Mix Of Total Happiness) is in most of the big supermarkets, but we discovered it at TASTE Regent&#8217;s Park last month and it was love at first sip. The French 75 has a pink gin base, with a tart sherbet and raspberry aroma, and sweet strawberry notes. It&#8217;s not brain-achingly fizzy, so keeps you coming back for more. <p>Although the Muddy team are tipsy 80% of the time, we added this mocktail tinnie to basket during a recent spin round Waitrose. Alcohol free drinks tend to be over-sweet and heavy on the fruit juice. Punchy Peach Ginger and Chai contains no artificial sweeteners, is made using natural ingredients to create a next level softie.
