I’ve been designing and making jewellery for over three decades, ever since motorbiking across India back in the 90s. I fell in love with the country, especially the city of Jaipur and the extraordinary craftspeople there. I studied their methods, and moved from my Israeli home to England, where I raised a family (Isla is my daughter!) and began designing. My jewellery is inspired by the places I have lived and loved: the sweeping landscapes of Israel, the colourful towns of Rajasthan, and Dartmoor with its dramatic plains and granite tors. My four collections are designed in my Devon studio, before being produced in my Jaipur workshop where a master team cut, shape and set the stones, and cast, polish and beat the silver and gold metals. Each piece passes through the hands of many artisans, and you can be sure each Isla ring or pair of earrings is entirely unique.
